Position: Psycho educators Needed for Youth Protection

Become a Psychoeducator with CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and support youth protection initiatives. This full-time position focuses on evaluations, clinical decisions, and effective interventions.
The Evaluation and Orientation Service at Batshaw Youth and Family Centres in Westmount is hiring Psycho educators for permanent and temporary roles. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of experience and strong analytical skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and French and membership in OPPQ are also necessary. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop impactful interventions for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess situations compromising child safety
• Evaluate protection needs for diverse families
• Intervene effectively within children’s communities
• Actively participate in clinical decision-making
• Help train the next generation of psycho educators
Requirements:
• Current member of the OPPQ
• Minimum two years relevant experience
• Strong autonomy and analytical skills
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle
