Job Summary

Coordinate the operation of an assigned university academic or clinical program or office.

This is a grant funded position; therefore, the university will incur no salary obligation beyond funding derived from this source. This position will continue as long as adequate funds are available.

Based on the recent Proclamation:
Restriction on Entry of Certain Nonimmigrant Workers (H-1B), VSU will not be sponsoring any new H-1B visa petitions until further notice.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operations to accomplish program/office objectives – 40% – Develop policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the efficient accomplishment of program/office objectives. Direct office/program operations.
  • Coordinate with others – 20% – Coordinate program/office activities with appropriate internal and external stakeholders. Represent program priorities before the larger university community.
  • Manage budget and personnel – 20% – Manage budget and control expenditures as assigned. Train, assign, direct, supervise, evaluate, and discipline personnel as assigned.
  • Reporting – 10% – Prepare a variety of regular and special reports. Maintain program/office files and records.
  • Provide services – 10% – Participate in the provision of direct services.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in clinical or program field and three (3) years of related work experience.

Proposed Salary

$29.38/hr

  • USG Cybersecurity Training (required twice yearly):
    • Job-specific training such as: FMLA and Worker’s Compensation, Budget Manager training, Purchasing Training (ePro & PCard), and Defensive Driving
