Silicon Valley Innovative School and College is looking for Assistant Teacher of Science (Physics/Chemistry)
Job Description / Responsibility
- Lesson planning and preparation of daily, weekly, and yearly academic plans.
- Classroom instruction in Physics, Chemistry and General Science following the National Curriculum.
- Preparation of question papers, worksheets, assignments, and model tests. Answer script checking and timely submission of marks and academic reports.
- Assessment and evaluation of students through class tests, practical exams, assignments, and terminal examinations.
- Monitoring of students' academic progress, attendance, and classroom participation.
- Maintenance of classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Participation in teacher meetings, workshops, professional development programs, and departmental activities.
- Communication with parents regarding students' academic progress, behavior, and attendance.
- Collaboration with colleagues and school management to achieve academic excellence.
- Continuous professional development through training, workshops, and self-learning.
- Performance of any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the Principal or the Chairman.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics, Chemistry, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, scie
- Skills Required: MS Office, Classroom management, Teaching Management, Communication and interpersonal skill, Public Speaking and Presentation, Student Assessment, Collaboration and Teamwork
