If you have a passion for health and fitness, the YMCA is seeking a Wellness Coach. You should possess YMCA Fitness Leadership Certification and experience in coaching. The position requires you to conduct wellness sessions, supervise equipment use, and manage the health center’s routine upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow YMCA policies and implement procedural standards
• Act as an ambassador demonstrating core values daily
• Provide coaching and demonstrate effective use of equipment
• Conduct wellness sessions and individual conditioning orientations
• Monitor equipment use and ensure safety protocols
Requirements:
• Two years post-secondary education in Health Education or related field
• YMCA Fitness Leadership Certification needed
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Available to start ASAP
