Job Description / Responsibility
- Curriculum Planning & Development: Designing, implementing, and reviewing the institutional curriculum, assessment policies, and reporting procedures to meet educational standards.
- Academic Supervision: Observing classes, reviewing lesson plans/notes, and overseeing the "scheme of work" to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Staff Management & Training: Mentoring teachers, facilitating professional development, and assisting in the evaluation of teaching staff.
- Timetable & Resource Management: Constructing the annual school/college timetable and allocating classrooms.
- Student Assessment & Records: Managing examination schedules, recording student data, and analyzing performance data to guide improvements.
- Policy Formulation: Assisting the Principal in creating, implementing, and enforcing school/college-wide academic policies.
- Parent/Student Communication: Conducting conferences, handling concerns, and managing academic discipline
- Performing other duties as per office requirements at any time.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Science (MSc)
- Master of Commerce (MCom)
