TGT MATH – Attibele – HARVEST INNOVATION CAMPUS
To deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction to students of Grades VI to X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, fostering conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop annual plans, unit plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Ensure conceptual clarity through activity-based, experiential, and inquiry-driven learning methodologies.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning abilities.
- Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment sessions based on student performance.
- Prepare students for school examinations, Olympiads, and other Mathematics competitions where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and academic performance.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design formative and summative assessments aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Evaluate answer scripts, assignments, projects, and practical activities promptly.
- Analyze assessment data to improve student outcomes.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to students and parents.
Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive classroom environment.
- Encourage active participation, collaboration, and independent thinking.
- Promote values of respect, responsibility, and academic integrity.
Student Development
- Mentor students in their academic and personal growth.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide intervention.
- Encourage participation in Mathematics clubs, exhibitions, quizzes, and STEM activities.
Parent Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and provide meaningful feedback.
- Collaborate with parents to support student learning.
Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Participate actively in school events, examinations, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
- Adhere to all school policies, CBSE norms, and safeguarding guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification is desirable.
- Minimum 3–6 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
