Designation: Technical Communication Trainer/Faculty – Training & Placement
Job Summary
Technical Communication Trainer will be responsible for teaching technical and professional communication courses to B.Tech students, equipping them with the communication skills required for academic success and professional careers. The role involves delivering engaging classroom sessions, developing course content, assessing student performance, and fostering effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication in alignment with industry expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Technical Communication and Professional Communication courses to B.Tech students.
- Teach topics such as technical writing, business communication, report writing, email etiquette, presentation skills, public speaking, interpersonal communication, workplace communication, and cross-cultural communication.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Design and conduct interactive classroom activities, case studies, role plays, presentations, and group discussions to enhance learning.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, presentations, quizzes, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
- Update course content regularly to align with current industry practices and communication standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in English, English Language Teaching, Communication, Linguistics, Business Communication, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- Command of spoken and written English.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital teaching platforms.
- Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in Technical Communication, Business Communication, English Language, or Soft Skills, preferably in an engineering institution.
- Experience in curriculum development, assessment design, and outcome-based education (OBE).
- Familiarity with AICTE/NAAC/NBA academic practices and accreditation requirements is desirable.
