The Centre for Business, Arts, and Sciences at Lethbridge Polytechnic is excited to hire a Sessional Instructor for the Environmental Science program for the Fall 2026 semester. This role involves preparing and teaching lab sessions for Renewable Resource Management, promoting critical thinking, and supporting diverse learning environments. Your approach will contribute to positive student outcomes and foster a collaborative academic culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage lab sections of RRM 2259 Principles of Fishery Science

• Facilitate and supervise course-related field trips

• Support the Centre’s goals of inclusivity and diversity in education

• Work collaboratively with course instructors

• Evaluate student progress and learning achievements

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in environmental science or relevant field

• Relevant experience teaching post-secondary curriculum

• Familiarity with wildlife research and assessment methods

• Proven ability to lead field-based learning opportunities

• Understanding of local wildlife species in Alberta
