Position: Summer ESY Paraprofessional – Small-Group Instruction

Job Description: Paraprofessionals will assist certified staff members implement instruction that targets individualized goals and objectives. Paraprofessionals will work with children individually or in small groups based on an understanding of individual students, their needs, interests and abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work effectively and collaboratively with other members of the instructional team – teachers, aides, administrators, specialists, behaviorists and parents.
- Assist with lunch, snack preparations, clean-up, and wash-up and bathroom routines as necessary.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with co-workers.
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to respond to changing priorities.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical demands: walking, standing, bending, lifting, assisting with self-care, personal hygiene and toileting if required.
Position is for both WHS and Miller-Driscoll
Candidates must be able to commit to assigned program dates and times.
Dates of employment are between July 7, 2026 – July 9, 2026 Tuesday-Thursday and July 13 – July 30, 2026 Monday-Thursday.
8:15am-11:45am, 8:45am-12:15pm or 8:15am-1:45pm.
