Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Broken Arrow, OK. The Teacher of the Deaf will develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of Deaf and hard of hearing children. Responsibilities include delivering engaging educational content, fostering communication and language development, and collaborating with families to support the holistic growth of children. The position involves creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment to help all students achieve academic, social, and personal milestones.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Education to develop and execute tailored curriculums.
- Proficiency in ASL Communication and Teaching to facilitate language development and learning experiences.
- A passion to teach Christian values.
- Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
