Role Description

The Teacher role at National Teachers College is a full-time, on-site position based in the National Capital Region, Philippines. The Teacher will design, plan, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with NTC’s curriculum and learning outcomes for preschool, basic, or higher education learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, facilitating classroom activities, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to support learning progress. The Teacher will maintain accurate records of attendance and grades, participate in faculty meetings, and collaborate with colleagues on academic and co-curricular initiatives. The role also involves communicating with students and families, supporting student well-being, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts in teaching and learning.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student assessment, with a focus on learner-centered and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Skills in classroom management, learner engagement, and behavior support to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.
  • Proficiency in using educational technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching, learning, and student tracking.
  • Maters’s degree in Education or the related field; professional license
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and alignment with NTC’s mission and values.
  • Ability to work on-site in the National Capital Region, Philippines, and to adapt to institutional policies, schedules, and academic standards.
