Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping the lead teacher with daily duties. You will be asked to go on field trips and be responsible for our students during the field trip.
This role involves engaging with toddlers and young children age 2 to 12, heading games and summer activities. You will work closely with parents and staff to ensure the highest quality of care, education and fun.
Duties
Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Provide attentive care to toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Manage classroom behavior by using effective behavior management techniques.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Manage a group of children while on field trips.
Skills
Strong experience in toddler care and understanding of early childhood development principles.
Effective behavior management skills to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
Experience working in a private school setting is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 – $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
