Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Student Teacher role based in The Hague. In this position, you will support instructors during classes, assist with lesson delivery, and help learners understand key concepts in mathematics, computer science, and related subjects. You will contribute to lesson preparation, set up teaching materials, and provide one-on-one or small-group guidance during exercises and practice sessions. The role includes giving constructive feedback to learners, monitoring progress, and helping maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. You may also participate in grading assignments, documenting attendance and performance, and contributing ideas to improve teaching methods and learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with an interest in developing practical classroom experience.
- Ability to plan and structure lessons, including Lesson Planning and basic Training support.
- Clear, empathetic Communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts to learners of different levels.
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Education, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable working with young learners in an on-site classroom environment.
- Willingness to receive feedback, learn new teaching methods, and collaborate with other team members.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
