Cendekia Harapan, an international school in Bali, is currently looking for a Humanities / Social Studies Teacher to join our academic team.
This role covers Social Studies-related subjects across Secondary and Advanced levels, including:
• Cultural & Civics Literacy G9–10
• Economics G11–12
• Sociology G11–12
• Humanities G6
• Humanities G8
• Geography G10
• Geography G11–12
• Indonesian Language & Culture G9–10
The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing learning materials, conducting student evaluation, marking assessments, and supporting students’ academic progress across the assigned subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Humanities / Social Studies-related subjects across different grade levels
• Prepare structured lesson plans and learning materials
• Conduct student assessment, evaluation, and feedback
• Support students’ academic development and critical thinking skills
• Collaborate with the academic team and participate in school routines and professional development activities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant educational background in Social Studies, Humanities, Geography, Economics, Sociology, International Relations, Education, or related fields
• Experience teaching Secondary and/or Advanced level students
• Familiarity with international curriculum standards such as Cambridge, OxfordAQA, IGCSE, or A Level is an advantage
• Ability to teach across related Social Studies subjects
• Strong communication, classroom management, and lesson-planning skills
• Professional, collaborative, and committed to student growth
