Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore for a Social Science TGT and English PGT. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons for middle school grades and advanced English lessons for higher secondary students, aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, assessing student performance through tests and assignments, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs. The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, participating in school events, coordinating with colleagues and school leadership, and engaging with parents or guardians on student progress. The teacher is expected to contribute to co-curricular activities, remedial sessions, and ongoing curriculum development as required.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Social Science and related areas of Science relevant to the taught curriculum.
  • Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills to assess student performance and adapt teaching strategies effectively.
  • Candidates should possess clear and effective communication skills for classroom instruction, feedback, and interaction with parents and colleagues.
  • Candidates should possess a solid background in Education, including familiarity with pedagogy, classroom management, and learner-centered teaching methods.
  • Candidates should possess research skills to update teaching materials, incorporate current events, and integrate innovative approaches into lesson planning.
  • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Social Science, English, or related disciplines.
  • Prior teaching experience as TGT/PGT or equivalent role in a school setting is highly preferred.
  • Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Strong organizational skills, patience, and a commitment to supporting diverse learning needs.
