Position: Senior Teacher for Early Intervention
Location: Petrolia
As a Senior Teacher for Early Intervention, you’ll champion the educational journey of children with diverse needs while developing impactful curriculum strategies. This role focuses on individualized instruction and behavioral support.
You will lead the creation and execution of lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) that adhere to specific academic and developmental goals. Your contributions will be crucial in behavioral interventions, helping students thrive both socially and emotionally. Additionally, mentoring fellow teachers will enhance teaching quality and engagement across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design individualized lesson plans and IEPs
• Guide teachers in curriculum delivery and classroom management
• Facilitate student enrollment and assessment processes
• Lead tailored behavioral and emotional interventions
• Organize teacher training for best practices
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Social Work)
• Minimum 3 years experience in early intervention
• Completed Diploma in Special Education from NIE
• Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin preferred
• Capacity to manage physical demands of the role
