We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Science to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality science education across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The role includes teaching KS2 and KS3, with a focus on preparing students for GCSE Science through both theoretical and practical learning.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons across all three disciplines
Plan innovative, practical-based learning experiences
Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations
Conduct experiments safely in line with health and safety requirements
Assess, monitor and support student progress
Provide high-quality feedback and maintain strong marking standards
Promote a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and student development
Work collaboratively with colleagues
Integrate technology effectively into teaching

Essential
About You
A degree in a Science-related subject
QTS or willingness to undertake teacher training
Ability to teach GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Strong subject and curriculum knowledge
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science
A collaborative and proactive approach
Desirable
Experience with GCSE exam preparation or exam board marking
Interest in creative or performing arts
Confidence in implementing new school IT systems
