Math Curriculum Specialist, gt.school (Remote) – $100,000/year USD Jobs in Orlando, FL at Crossover

Title: Math Curriculum Specialist, gt.school (Remote) – $100,000/year USD

Company: Crossover

Location: Orlando, FL

You're someone who can instantly identify flawed reasoning in middle-school mathematics. You've worked with students in grades 4–8 through teaching or tutoring (or built equivalent expertise and judgment), you craft feedback that learners can genuinely act on, and you refuse to accept "almost right" in material designed for student instruction.

We're developing an AI-driven mathematics content platform that produces questions, instructional articles, and video lessons at volume, but we reject the idea that volume justifies compromised accuracy or vague pedagogy. The field prioritizes "produce more." Our focus is "deliver better." Your role is the human checkpoint preventing thousands of learners from absorbing an algorithm's overconfident errors, imprecise explanations, or quietly compromised standards.

This position centers on rigorous quality control of AI-produced middle school mathematics materials: verifying correctness, reasoning, developmental appropriateness, and teaching quality; identifying conceptual pitfalls, unclear language, and faulty logic; and generating precise, structured feedback that enables rapid correction by downstream teams. This is detail-oriented work demanding high standards, careful scrutiny, and absolute intolerance for mathematically flawed or pedagogically damaging content entering the pipeline.

You'll function as the final checkpoint in the content workflow before publication, examining materials delivered through spreadsheets or proprietary systems and converting your assessments into clear issue documentation. If you work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy, flag problems without excessive explanation, and prioritize student understanding over diplomatic machine interaction, you belong here.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Examining AI-produced mathematics questions, instructional articles, and video content to detect problems in mathematical correctness, academic standards, pedagogical effectiveness, and developmental alignment, then delivering structured actionable feedback that allows correction teams to remediate content before student exposure.

Math Curriculum Specialist Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee that AI-produced mathematics instructional materials undergo thorough quality verification for mathematical correctness, academic standards, and pedagogical effectiveness.

Basic Requirements

  • You hold a university degree in Math Education (not solely Mathematics)
  • You possess a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in teaching, tutoring, or EdTech curriculum development centered on mathematics for grades 3–8
  • You are presently located in the US
