Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Pre-K Teacher to create a stimulating, nurturing, and structured learning environment for preschool-aged children. Duties

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement a structured, developmentally appropriate curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten.
  • Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and learning.
  • Support social-emotional growth by helping children develop problem-solving skills, independence, and cooperation.
  • Plan and facilitate activities that promote early literacy, math concepts, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing individualized support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with families, sharing updates on student learning and development.
  • Supervise and mentor classroom assistants to ensure a well-structured and effective learning environment.
  • Incorporate play-based learning, music, and hands-on experiences to enhance engagement.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and developmental levels.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Education Required: High school diploma
  • Education Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Certification: CPR and First Aid certification required; additional early childhood education certifications preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with preschool-age children in an educational or childcare setting.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Ability to implement engaging, structured learning activities that support academic and social growth.
  • Knowledge of classroom management strategies to create a positive and organized learning environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with families and staff.
