Position: Relief Early Childhood Educators for SD10
Support young children’s development as a Relief Early Childhood Educator with School District 10 (Arrow Lakes). This temporary role focuses on creating enriching and inclusive learning experiences for children within a caring environment.
Working under the guidance of the Child Care Manager, you’ll supervise children and implement engaging programming tailored to their developmental stages. Your focus on health, safety, and communication with families will positively impact the children’s early learning journey. You’ll have the chance to apply your skills in a diverse childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily play and learning for children under your care
• Develop and implement age-appropriate childcare programming
• Maintain accurate records related to activities and attendance
• Build relationships with community partners and families
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies
Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus ECE Certificate or Diploma
• Current ECE license in British Columbia
• Child Care First Aid Certification
• Minimum 1 year experience in a licensed childcare setting
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
