Position: Registered Nurse & Clinical Educator Role
Join Northern Health as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Educator focusing on Long Term Care. Utilize your clinical experience to train and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs that meet the competencies required for effective nursing practice. With a requirement of three years in long-term care, you will also engage in continuous improvement of care standards and coordinate relevant in-service training for staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs
• Maintain and evaluate mentorship initiatives
• Assist in reviewing clinical care policies
• Plan and coordinate education sessions
• Promote staff competence through targeted programs
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
• Three years of recent applicable experience
• Two years’ formal adult teaching experience
• Valid CPR Certification
• Active registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
