Position: Regional Organizer for Ecosystem Restoration
Join the Society for Ecosystem Restoration in Northern British Columbia as a Regional Organizer. This part-time role focuses on community building and enhancing ecosystems through effective collaboration.
You will play a pivotal role in the Northern Restoration Community of Practice by fostering connections among practitioners across the Omineca and Northeast regions. Candidates need to be passionate about ecosystem restoration, have experience in collaborative project delivery, and possess excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build connections among ecosystem restoration practitioners
• Plan and implement local in-person events
• Improve knowledge sharing and collaboration efforts
• Support diverse stakeholders in restoration projects
• Maintain effective communication with all parties
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a natural resource field
• At least 3 years of project development experience
• Understanding of conservation issues in northern BC
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license
