Position: Join Providence as an Adult Protection Educator

In this engaging position, you will oversee the Adult Guardianship Protection Program and ensure staff compliance with the Adult Guardianship Act. You will be instrumental in creating educational strategies and support programs for staff development addressing complex adult cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver training on adult protection and evaluate program outcomes
• Collaborate on policy development and implementation
• Mentor staff on psychosocial assessments and care plans
• Lead inter-professional education sessions
• Conduct chart audits to inform practice improvements
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work from accredited university
• Five years of relevant experience with adult protection cases
• Active registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers
• Experience in teaching or preceptoring social work students
• Strong understanding of community resources and relevant laws
