The professional will deliver live online English classes to students, following established curricula and adapting teaching methods to different proficiency levels. Daily activities include preparing lesson plans, creating engaging digital learning materials, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support learner progress. The role also involves tracking attendance and performance, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with learners and internal staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Online English Professor is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices and participate in relevant training or team meetings.
Qualifications
- Solid command of English language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills.
- Experience teaching English online or in-person, preferably to diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
- Ability to design and deliver structured lesson plans and use digital tools and platforms for online instruction.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills that foster motivation and learner engagement.
- Comfort with technology, including video conferencing tools, learning management systems, and basic office software.
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, student records, and assessments with attention to detail.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and respect for different backgrounds and learning needs.
- Relevant teaching certification, pedagogical training, or degree in Languages, Education, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Porto Alegre, RS, with a consistent schedule aligned to class demands.
