Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for Primary and Pre-Primary Teachers at KIS Kharadi, Pune. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and holistic learning philosophy.
Teachers will be responsible for designing age-appropriate learning experiences that support language development, cognitive growth, social-emotional skills, and overall student well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Maintaining accurate classroom records
- Preparing instructional materials and lesson plans
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Additionally, teachers are expected to actively participate in school events, co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development programs to continuously enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience in primary and/or pre-primary settings
- Proven skills in curriculum development and the ability to design engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues in a diverse environment
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; teaching certifications or specialized early years training will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated classroom management skills, patience, and a child-centric approach that fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Ability to integrate arts, play-based learning, and experiential teaching methods into the curriculum
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and collaborate within a team-oriented culture
