Role Description The Primary Mother Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar, responsible for managing the overall academic and pastoral needs of a primary-grade classroom. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects, design age-appropriate activities, and ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Daily tasks include taking attendance, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, maintaining records, and providing regular feedback to learners. The role involves close communication with parents and guardians, participating in parent-teacher meetings, and coordinating with other staff members to support student development. The teacher will also contribute to school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities as part of the broader school community.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Teaching and Elementary Education, with the ability to manage and support young learners in a classroom setting.
  • Experience or formal training in Curriculum Development and Education, including planning structured, age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Excellent Communication skills for interacting effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent, with a focus on primary or elementary education (B.Ed. preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, caring, and engaging classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
  • Organizational and classroom management skills, including record-keeping, time management, and maintaining discipline in a positive manner.
