The Toronto Zoo seeks a detail-oriented E-Learning Instructional Designer to join our Talent Development team. In this part-time role, you will design, write, and develop interactive e-learning modules utilizing adult learning theories and instructional design principles. Your expertise will be pivotal in translating complex information into accessible content that enhances employee skills and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop e-learning from analysis to launch
• Write concise, learner-centered online training content
• Build courses using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline
• Lead client needs assessments and collaboration with SMEs
• Maintain organized documentation of all learning assets
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Instructional Design or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in e-learning development
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in content creation
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM standards
