Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Preschool Teacher located in New Albany, OH. The Preschool Teacher will design and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote developmental and academic growth. Responsibilities include managing classroom routines, ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and actively communicating with parents and caregivers about the progress and development of their children.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to promote effective and engaging learning experiences
- Experience in Early Childhood Education, with an understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong Communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and administrators
- Knowledge of kindergarten readiness concepts and how to prepare children for their educational journey
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
- CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential or state certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
- Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
