Role Description The Pre-primary Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the CBSE-integrated curriculum, focusing on foundational literacy, numeracy, and socio-emotional development. Daily responsibilities include creating engaging classroom activities, managing a safe and inclusive learning environment, observing and documenting student progress, and providing regular feedback to parents and guardians. The role involves collaborating with other teachers and school leadership on curriculum implementation, participating in staff meetings and training sessions, and contributing to school events and co-curricular activities. The teacher is expected to model positive behavior, support individual learning needs, and foster curiosity and confidence in young learners.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Elementary Education and Education, with formal training or certification in early childhood or primary teaching.
  • Demonstrated Teaching experience in pre-primary or early years classrooms, with the ability to manage and engage young learners.
  • Curriculum Development skills to design and adapt lesson plans aligned with CBSE and integrated learning frameworks.
  • Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining professional parent communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; B.Ed. or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Ability to use age-appropriate teaching aids and basic educational technology in the classroom.
  • Commitment to child safety, inclusion, and positive classroom management, with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Previous experience in CBSE or similar curricula and familiarity with continuous assessment methods is an advantage.
