Description

The Department of Marketing at Austin Peay State University is seeking a qualified and

experienced professional to join our faculty as an Adjunct Marketing Professor. The

successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, providing

students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on marketing.
  • Design and implement relevant coursework, assignments, and assessments.
  • Foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and

critical thinking.

  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate real-world examples into the

curriculum.

Physical Requirements

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force

frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Marketing, or a Master’s degree in Business with 18

graduate hours in Marketing, or a Master’s degree in Business, Public Relations, or

Communication, and 5+ years of professional experience in marketing.

  • A minimum of five years of practical experience in the field of marketing.
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of current trends in marketing.
  • Ability to teach face-to-face classes, Monday – Friday during normal business
  • A background search will be required of the successful applicant
