We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic MYP Mathematics Teacher to join our international school in Qatar. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and rigorous lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, fostering inquiry-based learning and critical thinking in Mathematics.
Overview
The MYP Mathematics Teacher plays a vital role in delivering dynamic, inquiry-driven lessons that align with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). This position is dedicated to nurturing students’ mathematical knowledge while encouraging critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and creative problem-solving. Beyond academic skills, the teacher fosters a spirit of international-mindedness and cultivates a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

The ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and/or Education
- Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching license
- Minimum of 2–3 years teaching experience, ideally in international or IB schools
- Experience with the IB MYP framework or strong familiarity with inquiry-based, student-centered learning approaches
- Expertise in differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs and styles
- Collaborative team player who thrives in multicultural, international faculty environments
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience in managing classroom challenges and supporting student growth
Facts & Figures
Location: Doha, Qatar
Job type: Contract
Duration: 2 Years
Salary range: QAR11 000 – QAR14 000 depending on years of experience
