We are beginning a small founding cohort of educators who wish to explore research-based teaching and learning in depth.
About Us
Over the last several years, through the SMILE Learning Model (Self-Motivated Intelligent Learning Environment), we have been experimenting with questions such as:
• Why do many students lose curiosity despite spending years inside classrooms?
• Why is learning often reduced to syllabus completion and examination performance?
• What happens when students are trained to read deeply, think independently, and observe carefully?
• Can teachers become learning coaches instead of only content-delivery instructors?
We are now inviting a small cohort of educators, teachers, mentors, and intellectually curious individuals to participate in a structured incubation journey focused on:
• research-based pedagogy
• psychology of learning
• deep reading practices
• self-learning systems
• observation and reflection
• the SMILE Learning Model
• The Learning Marathon (TLM) ecosystem
LOCATION: Across INDIA
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Stage 1 — Application & Exploratory Reading
Selected applicants will receive:
• a foundational research paper to study
• a program structure document
• reflection guidelines
Applicants will be required to:
• read deeply
• prepare handwritten reflective notes
• submit their observations and reflections through a Google Form
We are not looking for perfect answers.
We are interested in curiosity, seriousness, observation, reflection, and willingness to rethink learning itself.
Stage 2 — Interaction & Selection
Shortlisted participants will be invited for an interaction round.
Selected participants will then receive an enrollment invitation and payment link.
Phase 1 Program Contribution Fee: ₹20,000
The program includes:
• guided immersion into research-based teaching and learning
• curated reading and reflection process
• mentorship and discussions
• learning kit and books
• exposure to the SMILE framework
• Introduction to TLM learning systems
Participants who successfully complete the journey may receive opportunities to become:
• TLM Learning Coaches
• Learning Partners within upcoming TLM initiatives
• facilitators for student learning communities
• future Learning Studio ecosystem partners
It is an exploration into learning, thinking, curiosity, and the future role of educators.
