Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and Montessori-trained educator to create a nurturing, child-centered learning environment that supports the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children. The teacher will guide students using Montessori principles, encourage independence, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement Montessori curriculum and learning activities
- Prepare and maintain an organized, stimulating, and safe Montessori classroom environment.
- Present Montessori materials and lessons according to Montessori methodology.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's progress and development.
- Support children's independence, self-discipline, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain positive communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure high-quality educational standards.
- Ensure the well-being, safety, and inclusion of all children.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.
- Maintain classroom records, attendance, and developmental assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Montessori certification from a recognized Montessori training institute (AMI, AMS, or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience working with children in a Montessori environment.
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of Montessori teaching experience.
