Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated TGT English Teacher to inspire middle school students in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment. This role is crucial in developing students’ language proficiency, critical thinking, and communication skills during a pivotal stage of academic and personal growth. The teacher will design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote reading comprehension, written expression, oral fluency, and literary appreciation. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, student-centered, and committed to fostering a classroom culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and academic excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver structured, student-centered English lessons aligned with the curriculum for middle school students
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies such as discussions, debates, creative writing, literature circles, and multimedia resources to enhance language learning
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Support the development of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through targeted instruction and individualized guidance
- Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages active participation and academic confidence
- Collaborate with teaching staff to align instructional goals, share resources, and support interdisciplinary learning
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents via reports, meetings, or digital platforms
- Prepare and organize instructional materials, classroom displays, and learning aids to support effective teaching
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English (BA English) or equivalent
- 2–4 years of teaching experience in middle school or secondary education
- Strong command of spoken and written English, including grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis
- Proven ability to deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated instruction to diverse learners
- Solid understanding of middle school pedagogy, curriculum standards, and assessment practices
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student growth, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for language and literature
