St Mary’s CE Middle School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher to join our wonderful team of staff.

The successful candidate will be able to adapt and deliver our key stage 2 curriculum to pupils across the school, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge across all learning areas.

The role is full time on a permanent basis.

About The Role

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Plan, develop and deliver high quality lessons using a variety of approaches to enhance teaching and learning
  • The salary offered will be at main scale 1 to 6, depending on experience (negotiable for the right candidate).

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have the ability to teach key stage 2 curriculum
  • Be an excellent teacher who is able to deliver a high standard of education to all pupils
  • Be an innovative thinker and have the passion to engender excitement about the curriculum
  • Have a good understanding of inclusive teaching and learning strategies to facilitate learning of all pupils, and especially those with SEND
  • Have excellent classroom management strategies
  • Have the ability to inspire and motivate learners
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Meet teaching standards
