Role Description This is a full-time, on-site High School Science Teacher role based in Parañaque. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring that learning objectives and standards are met. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and instructional materials, teaching courses such as Physics and Environmental Science, facilitating laboratory activities and demonstrations, and assessing student performance through quizzes, exams, and projects. The teacher will provide academic support and feedback to learners, maintain accurate records of grades and attendance, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives. Additional tasks include participating in faculty meetings, parent–teacher conferences, and school events, while promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, standards-based science instruction.
- Candidates should possess solid content knowledge in Physics and Environmental Science to teach core and specialized science subjects effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and to engage learners, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, Science Education, or a related science field, with relevant teaching licensure or certification.
- Candidates should demonstrate classroom management skills, familiarity with educational technology, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching.
- Prior experience teaching high school learners and working within DepEd-aligned curricula or similar educational frameworks is an advantage.
