About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic ICT Teacher to deliver high-quality computing and digital literacy lessons in an on-site school environment. The successful candidate will design engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, maintain classroom technology and contribute to the wider school curriculum and extra-curricular programmes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured ICT lessons that meet the needs of pupils across different year groups and abilities.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets.
- Integrate a range of educational technologies, software and coding platforms into teaching and learning activities.
- Contribute to extra-curricular ICT clubs, competitions and school-wide digital initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support pupil development and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education with ICT or a related discipline.
- A recognised teaching qualification required (e.g. PGCE, equivalent) or demonstrable classroom teaching experience.
- Proven experience delivering ICT or computing lessons and an understanding of contemporary curricula and assessment practices.
- Strong practical ICT skills, including familiarity with coding basics (e.g. Scratch, Python), productivity suites and educational platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage pupils and liaise effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Good classroom management, organisational skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
- Eligibility to work in Vietnam and willingness to work on-site during the school term.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £2,000 – £2,500
