About Job

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous mathematics lessons across Key Stages, covering topics from algebra, geometry, and calculus to statistics and probability.
  • Design and implement inquiry‑based and problem‑based learning experiences that encourage students to explore, conjecture, and prove.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities, and mathematical confidence is built.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the mathematics department and across faculties to integrate cross‑curricular themes (e.g., STEM, data literacy).
  • Use formative and summative assessment effectively to monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their personal best.
  • Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs and high achievers.
  • Participating enthusiastically in Professional Development, both that which is mandated by the School and that which is identified by the teacher.
  • Communicate regularly and transparently with families through conferences, reports, and daily interaction, building strong home‑school partnerships.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in primary education or above
  • Experience of curriculum planning and development and significant experience of delivering IB curriculum in your subject.
  • Hold a teacher certificate PGCE
  • Be good at communicating with students and stimulate their initiative in learning.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and team work spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to professional development.
