- Strengthening research activity and supporting the development of research capacity
- Managing resources effectively to ensure long‑term sustainability
- Building external partnerships and enhancing the School’s profile
The Person
We are seeking a credible and experienced academic leader who can demonstrate:
- A strong academic profile appropriate for appointment at Professorial level
- Experience of leadership within a complex academic environment
- The ability to lead and develop diverse academic communities
- Experience of balancing priorities across teaching, research and operations
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to support and motivate colleagues
- The ability to work across disciplinary boundaries and build collaboration
- A commitment to inclusive leadership and a positive working environment
