Role Description

We are looking for part-time teachers for two graduate courses next fall semester:

  1. Fixed income analysis
  2. Innovation and entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities also include grading assignments, facilitating classroom discussions, and contributing to academic research or curriculum development. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop teaching experience and engage in the academic community at Reykjavik University.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background in a relevant field and advanced research skills
  • A master’s degree in a related discipline is required; a Ph.D. or enrollment in a Ph.D. program is preferred
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal formats
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and student mentorship
  • Ability to effectively manage teaching responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with academic software and technology for course delivery is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic setting
