Position Summary
The Executive Dean serves as the Chief Administrative Authority of the college and acts as a strategic partner to institutional leadership.
This role requires a leader who can translate academic vision into operational execution, ensuring that curriculum, faculty performance, student outcomes, and institutional strategy are aligned.
The Dean will oversee academic planning, faculty leadership, program development, and academic governance while ensuring the institution maintains the highest standards of educational excellence.
This position combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, requiring both institutional vision and disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement the college’s academic strategy and long-term vision
- Establish measurable academic goals aligned with institutional priorities
- Ensure high standards of academic integrity, rigor, and quality across programs
- Lead initiatives that strengthen academic innovation and differentiation
2. Curriculum Development & Academic Programs
- Oversee the design, review, and continuous improvement of academic programs
- Ensure curriculum remains relevant to industry trends and global education standards
- Lead academic audits, accreditation readiness, and compliance initiatives
- Introduce future-focused programs that improve student employability
3. Faculty Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-quality faculty members
- Establish clear performance expectations and evaluation systems
- Promote faculty development, research initiatives, and academic innovation
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
4. Student Success & Learning Outcomes
- Ensure strong academic outcomes, retention, and student progression
- Maintain academic standards in admissions and program delivery
- Develop systems to measure and improve student learning outcomes
- Support initiatives that enhance student engagement and academic excellence
5. Academic Operations & Governance
- Lead academic planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Manage academic budgets and departmental coordination
- Ensure institutional compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies
- Represent the college in academic councils, committees, and governance forums
6. Institutional Partnerships & Growth
- Build relationships with universities, industry partners, and research organizations
- Support initiatives that strengthen the college’s academic reputation
- Contribute to institutional growth, rankings, and program expansion
- Promote interdisciplinary learning and innovation

- Master’s degree required
- PhD strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Faculty leadership and development
- Academic program management
- Institutional strategy and growth
