📚 English Functional Skills Entry 2 Tutor Needed
We are a recognised and accredited approved centre by Open Awards, delivering high-quality Functional Skills qualifications and learner support.
We are currently looking for a motivated and supportive English Functional Skills Entry 2 Tutor to help learners improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in a positive learning environment.
📅 Start Date:
* Monday, 18th May
🕖 Class Schedule:
* Monday – 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
* Wednesday – 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
* Friday – 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
💷 Hourly Rate:
* £15 per hour
📝 Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare lessons and plan the syllabus to be completed within 20 weeks (5 months)
* Deliver engaging Entry 2 Functional Skills English lessons
* Prepare students for online examinations
* Give weekly homework, mark completed work, and provide constructive feedback
* Support learners to build confidence and achieve their goals
* Assess learner progress and maintain accurate learner records
✅ Requirements:
* Must be living in the UK
* Experience teaching Functional Skills English or ESOL
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Patient, encouraging, and learner-focused approach
* Relevant teaching qualification preferred
* Arabic language skills would be an advantage, as many of our learners come from an Arabic-speaking background
