Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site English Trainer (eLearning) role based in Varanasi. The English Trainer will design and deliver engaging eLearning modules focused on English language proficiency for diverse learner groups. Responsibilities include developing structured lesson plans, interactive activities, and assessments aligned with learning objectives and organizational needs. The trainer will conduct virtual and classroom-style sessions, monitor learner progress, provide individualized feedback, and adjust teaching methods based on learner performance. Day-to-day tasks also involve creating or updating digital learning content, collaborating with academic and training teams, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learning outcomes. The role may include coordinating with stakeholders to align training content with business requirements and participating in continuous improvement of training programs.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching, Language Teaching, and general Teaching skills, with the ability to deliver structured and engaging lessons in an eLearning environment.
- Background or education in Education or a related field, with an understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in Writing for creating clear, concise, and learner-friendly training materials, assessments, and communication.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, including grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary instruction.
- Experience with eLearning platforms, virtual classrooms, and basic digital tools (e.g., presentations, LMS, video conferencing software).
- Ability to manage a classroom or virtual cohort, motivate learners, and adapt teaching style to different proficiency levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Communications, or a related discipline preferred; relevant certifications in TEFL/TESOL or similar are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-centric mindset, with openness to feedback and continuous professional development.
