Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children’s overall development.
- Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Foster children’s social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and progress.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to provide high-quality educational experiences.
- Maintain an organised, stimulating, and child-centered learning environment.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children aged 2–4 years is essential.
- Degree or qualification in Early Childhood Education, Preschool Education, Primary Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Advanced English (spoken and written) is required.
- Knowledge of Romanian or Russian is preferred (knowledge of both is an advantage).
- Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their individual learning journey.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, caring, creative, and energetic personality.
- Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an international team.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and implement the Cambridge Early Years approach.
