Role Overview
This contractual position oversees daily operations of a nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with educational frameworks to foster social, emotional, and cognitive development.

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental progress, and incident reports in compliance with licensing regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents about children’s milestones, concerns, and classroom updates through progress reports and meetings.
- Ensure the nursery environment meets health, safety, and hygiene standards, including regular equipment inspections and maintenance.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a nursery or preschool setting.
- Valid certification in early childhood education or equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant educational authority.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and implementation of play-based learning strategies.
- First Aid certification, including pediatric CPR, and familiarity with emergency response protocols for young children.
- Ability to manage staff schedules, delegate responsibilities, and resolve conflicts professionally.
