Trivandrum International School (TRINS) is seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to inspire students through engaging theatre and performing arts experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons for students.
- Develop students' skills in acting, improvisation, voice, movement, and stage performance.
- Organize and direct school productions, assemblies, and drama-related events.
- Foster creativity, confidence, teamwork, and effective communication.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or a recognised teaching qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
- Experience with IB or Cambridge curricula is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong organisational and theatre production skills.
- Passion for inspiring young learners through the performing arts.
