Position: Dedicated Math Teacher/Tutor for Student Success in Learning Center
Join our team as a part-time math teacher-tutor and help students discover the joy of numbers! This position offers a chance to work with Grades 3 to 10, focusing on building strong math skills and self-esteem.
You’ll engage with students in person, following our proven teaching methods to foster an effective learning environment. By committing to working evenings and some Saturdays, you’ll ensure students receive consistent quality support as they tackle math concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tutor up to 3 students at various levels
• Implement established teaching techniques
• Provide daily student updates and reflections
• Maintain an encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Communicate with students and parents effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field
• Experience in teaching/tutoring math
• Strong command of English communication
• Ability to manage multiple students
• Teaching certification is beneficial
