The Westwood School seeks a relational, student-centered leader to serve as Dean of Upper School (grades 7-12). This role leads a division of 75 students (growing to 120) and a faculty of 15 within a unique Montessori and International Baccalaureate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen Upper School culture and student experience
- Lead and align faculty
- Oversee student life, discipline, and daily operations
- Partner with parents and administrative team
Ideal Candidate:
- Relational leader who builds trust with students and families
- Provides structure with empathy and sound judgment
- Comfortable navigating nuanced situations with flexibility
- Montessori and/or IB experience preferred
Westwood is a 40-year-old, close-knit community focused on developing the whole child through strong relationships, character, and thoughtful education.
Details:
- Start: Summer 2026
- 11-month position (July off)
- May include teaching one class
- Salary: $65,000–$75,000
