Summary: Responsible for leading group work and group activities with children ranging in age between 6 weeks to 12 years while providing quality care and supervision to each child by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Engages in nurturing, positive, appropriate care and interactions with children.
· Leads group work and group activities with children.
· Meets and greets parents and children each day when they arrive and during departure.
· Focuses on the health and safety of children at all times.
· Creates a positive working relationship with parents and children.
· Communicates child and/or parent concerns to group supervisor in a timely manner.
· Provides consistent supervision with a focus on safety for the children at all times.
· Adheres to all established policies, procedures, and code of ethics.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All applicants must be able to obtain Act 33/34, FBI, and NSOR clearances, and complete a physical screening.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least one year of relevant experience. Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, human services, or a related field strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities: Compassion, patience, energetic, calm, nurturing, flexibility, willingness to learn.

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
