Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chemistry Faculty position based in Ulhasnagar. The faculty member will plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with the institution’s curriculum and student learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching theoretical and problem-solving concepts, conducting doubt-clearing sessions, and evaluating student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations. The role also involves developing learning materials, collaborating with other faculty members for curriculum enhancement, and supporting students in preparing for board exams and competitive examinations. The faculty member is expected to maintain academic records, participate in faculty meetings, and communicate regularly with academic coordinators and, when needed, with parents or guardians about student progress.
Qualifications
- Strong subject matter expertise in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.
- Understanding of Physics fundamentals to support interdisciplinary teaching and clarify related concepts when required.
- Experience or demonstrated ability in Curriculum Development, including lesson planning, assessment design, and alignment with academic standards and competitive exam requirements.
- Research aptitude or experience, with the ability to incorporate updated methodologies, resources, and real-world applications into teaching.
- Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Prior teaching experience at the school or coaching level, especially for board and/or competitive exams, is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and mentoring skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
- Comfort with basic educational technology tools for creating materials, tracking performance, and enhancing student engagement.
